I don't know what else you could possibly need. You can easily override any of these rates on a per-file basis. You can also assign a max # number of connections for new transfers and total transfers. I don't exactly what you consider huge in the connection setting category, but Transmission allows you to setup global up/down speeds as well as a secondary "speed limit" mode, so you can switch between high-traffic and low-traffic modes at will, or at specified times of day. You can also employ a blocklist to prevent known bad peers from connecting, which updates automatically. You can't turn off encryption in Transmission, and you can choose to only accept connections from encrypted peers. You can even automatically categorize your finished downloads by making use of groups and keyword criteria. With Transmission, you can specify which folder to pull torrents in from, which folder to store incomplete downloads, and which folder to store finished downloads.
